Information from the GeoSmart project is to be presented during a half-day online workshop on 9 November 2023.
Registration is now open for the, ‘Online Workshop on the Cross-Cutting Materials Challenges of Renewable Energy Technologies,’ which will run via Zoom from 09:00-13:00 CET.
The workshop will investigate and discuss cross-cutting materials challenges for renewable energy technologies, identifying synergies and cross-cutting material research needs among concentrated solar thermal, photovoltaics, wind, geothermal and biomass.
TWI Ltd’s Dr Namrata Kale will present on the topic geothermal materials challenges through research conducted during the GeoSmart project before joining the later round-table discussion on cross-cutting challenges, existing frameworks for collaborations, and synergistic activities.
The workshop is bringing together industry and academic experts from across Europe, including those from Turkey, Germany, Spain, Romania and the UK for what promises to be an enlightening and informative workshop.
