TWI is offering a new training course covering the potential benefits of adhesives in fabrication. Aimed at scientists and engineers, this 4-day course will look into the key aspects of this rapidly growing joining technology, allowing attendees to understand the many advantages offered by adhesives.
These advantages in terms of functionality, fabrication time, cost and design freedom can, in many cases, provide significant savings in product manufacturing compared to other joining techniques.
Modern adhesive bonding techniques require an understanding of the underlying science and technology in order to fully appreciate the associated design rules specific to this approach. This course has been designed with standards in mind and will offer combined theory and practical elements.
The course will also provide you with a chance to discuss specific applications and adhesion problems either during the course or in confidence, once the course ends.
With adhesive bonding providing many new opportunities to make things more efficiently or in new ways, this course will help you to go further and work with greater confidence.
However, there are limited places available so we recommend early booking – which will also give you a 5% discount on the regular course price.
Courses are set to be held 26-29 March, 25-28 June, and 15-18 October.
