TWI Aerospace Industry Sector Panel Meeting

On 24th September, TWI will host the Aerospace Industry Sector Panel Meeting at our headquarters in Cambridge.

This meeting will be an opportunity for Industrial Members to listen to the latest technology developments within the industry sector. There will be presentations from TWI experts and TWI Industrial Members which will include question and answer sessions to better understand current and future needs.

The event is being held on the afternoon before the TWI CRP symposium to allow Industrial Members the chance to attend both events and minimise travel.

The topics for the event include:

• Friction Welding and tooling development- UK supply chain
• Coatings and PFAS- Legal requirements and projects coming up
• NDT- Latest testing and capability
• Bonding- Adhesive bonding and the role of AI
• Additive Manufacture- WAAM, equipment and materials.

This event will also set the direction for future Aero Panel Meetings, with decisions on future topics and timing of the event.
