Am I eligible?
The level one visual welding inspector course is suitable for welders, operators, line inspectors and foreman who carry out the visual examination of welded joints. This course is ideal for those who need basic training in welding inspection alongside a qualification.
Though there is no specific entry requirements for this course, it is recommended that candidates have a minimum of 6 months welding-related engineering experience and 2 years industrial experience. Candidates must also comply with Clause 1.3.4 of CSWIP document WI-6-92.
Course duration and alternate learning options:
This course is delivered for 2 days (theory and practical) followed by one day CSWIP examination. If you are unable to attend the traditional classroom training, you can choose our CSWIP Visual Welding Inspector Online Live Course.
