TWI India – Venkat Ayyala (APAC Group Regional Manager – Associate Director), Harendra Kumar (Country Manager), and BA Kumar (Business Development Manager) visited the Department of Technical Education, Skill Development and Employment, Government of Madhya Pradesh, in Bhopal.
The Department of Technical Education, Skill Development and Employment is actively advancing skill development through structured, industry-aligned training initiatives delivered via the Sant Shiromani Ravidas Global Skill Park (GSP). The GSP is currently delivering advanced long-term and short-term training programmes across key technical domains, including automotive technology, electrical, advanced electronics (IoT), advanced air-conditioning & refrigeration, mechanical, CNC and precision engineering, networking systems, and mechatronics with industrial robotics.
The team held a productive meeting with Shri Manish Singh, Principal Secretary, to explore potential areas of collaboration aligned with the state’s vision for advancing technical education and skill development.
As part of the visit, the delegation also toured the Global Skill Park, where they met with Shri Girish Sharma, CEO, Shri Niraj Sahay, Director, and their team. The visit provided valuable insights into the park’s state-of-the-art facilities, including advanced laboratories across multiple disciplines such as automotive technology, precision engineering advanced air conditioning, robotics, and more.
Discussions focused on identifying opportunities for collaboration, particularly in welding and non-destructive testing (NDT), where TWI’s global expertise can support the development of industry-relevant skills and training programmes.
This engagement reflects TWI India’s continued commitment to supporting national and regional skill development initiatives by partnering with key stakeholders to strengthen technical capabilities and workforce readiness.
