Gopinath Devarajan is working as an NDT Inspector across the oil and gas, power, EPC, and fabrication sectors. While searching for an Eddy Current Level 2 course, he connected with TWI and learned about the LRF Scheme. Encouraged by the opportunity, he and his colleague enrolled in the programme, successfully completed the training, and passed the certification.

Gopinath highlighted that the training provided by TWI followed ISO 9712 requirements and was backed by a UKAS-accredited certification body, making the qualification internationally recognised and highly respected within the industry.

Strengthening Safety Awareness Through IOSH Training
In addition to the Eddy Current Level 2 course, Gopinath also completed the IOSH Safety Course. Although he had already attended more than 100 safety inductions across various project sites, he explained that the IOSH training gave him a much deeper and more structured understanding of workplace safety practices.
The course significantly strengthened his awareness of safety activities, responsibilities, and on-site risk management, helping him approach workplace safety with the confidence and mindset of a safety officer.
Encouraging Others Through Shared Experience
Following the positive impact of both courses, Gopinath expressed strong appreciation for TWI and the LRF Scheme. He has personally recommended the programme to many NDT candidates, especially those from financially challenging backgrounds, so they too can benefit from internationally recognised technical and safety training.
