Array ultrasonic imaging techniques for improved detection

Webinars 13 March 2026

Array ultrasonic imaging techniques for improved  detection and sizing of flaws in welds

Join this technical webinar to gain practical insights into Advanced PAUT techniques using FMC and TFM for weld inspection and understand how these methods improve defect detection and sizing accuracy.

Key takeaways from the session include:

  • Appreciation of phased array ultrasonic testing (PAUT) technique
  • Overview of Full Matrix Capture (FMC):an ultrasonic data acquisition process
  • Overview of Total Focusing Method (TFM): a Post processing algorithm
  • Review of illustrative examples of data collected using PAUT and FMC/TFM techniques from weldments

This webinar is ideal for NDT inspectors and managers, quality control professionals, third-party inspectors, and plant inspection teams looking to upgrade their technical knowledge and stay aligned with advanced inspection practices.
