TWI Thailand continues to support the development of skilled professionals across the region through impactful training initiatives. One such success story is that of Ms. Chayanit Lueanpraphai, a Welding Engineer who successfully completed the CSWIP 3.0 Visual Welding Inspector course.

Driven by a passion for continuous learning, Ms. Chayanit had been actively following TWI Thailand’s social media channels to stay updated on training opportunities. With a clear goal of enhancing her technical expertise in visual welding inspection, she found the SEASEP programme to be the perfect fit—especially under the Women Free Class campaign. The initiative’s strong focus on empowering female engineers and promoting workplace safety resonated deeply with her professional ambitions.

“When I discovered the SEASEP programme, I immediately saw it as a valuable opportunity to strengthen my technical skills while being part of an initiative that supports women in engineering.”

Reflecting on the impact of the training, Ms. Chayanit shared that the course has significantly strengthened her confidence and precision in identifying welding defects and applying acceptance criteria. The knowledge gained has not only enhanced her individual performance but has also enabled her to take on a mentoring role within her organisation.

“The training has made me more confident and accurate in my work. I am now able to share this knowledge with my team, helping improve our overall quality and technical standards.”

Achieving an internationally recognised certification has marked a major milestone in her professional growth. Becoming a certified Visual Welding Inspector has validated her expertise, increased her confidence, and strengthened the trust and recognition she receives from her colleagues and management.

“Receiving this certification has been a proud moment for me. It has strengthened my professional credibility and given me greater confidence in my capabilities.”

In addition to technical skills, the inclusion of the IOSH Working Safely course has further enriched her learning experience. The programme has provided her with essential safety knowledge, allowing her to actively contribute to a safer and more compliant working environment.

“Safety is a critical part of our work. The IOSH training has helped me better understand how to create a safer environment for myself and my colleagues every day.”

Looking ahead, Ms. Chayanit remains committed to continuous professional development. She is focused on excelling in her current role while exploring future opportunities to expand her expertise through globally recognised certifications.

“I am motivated to continue learning and growing in my career, and I look forward to pursuing more internationally recognised certifications in the future.”

Her journey reflects the transformative impact of targeted training programmes and highlights the importance of empowering individuals to achieve both personal and professional growth. This case study stands as a testament to how initiatives like SEASEP not only enhance technical capability but also inspire confidence, leadership, and a commitment to lifelong learning.
