TWI Thailand successfully conducted two outstation CSWIP 3.0 classes on 6–7 and 8–9 October 2025 at King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT) in Bangkok. The sessions aimed to provide students and industry personnel with foundational knowledge in welding inspection and quality assurance, aligning with international standards recognised by the global engineering community.
The CSWIP 3.0 Visual Welding Inspector course introduces participants to key principles of welding inspection, including welding processes, defects, and quality control practices. Designed for individuals seeking to build their technical competence, the training helps participants prepare for further career advancement within the welding and fabrication sectors.
This initiative forms part of the South East Asia Skills Enhancement Programme (SEASEP) - a regional collaboration led by TWI to enhance workforce capabilities across Southeast Asia. SEASEP’s core objective is to elevate technical and vocational education and training (TVET) standards by providing internationally recognised qualifications and industry-relevant skills development opportunities.
By organising such outstation classes, TWI Thailand continues to demonstrate its strong commitment to developing the skills of students and industry professionals, ensuring they are equipped with knowledge and competencies that meet global standards. These efforts not only empower individuals but also contribute to Thailand’s industrial growth by producing more qualified and skilled personnel for the future.
