TWI Thailand successfully conducted two outstation CSWIP 3.0 Welding Inspector training classes at Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya (RUTS) in Songkhla Province, from 23–24 and 25–26 June 2025. These sessions mark another significant milestone in TWI’s continued efforts to extend welding inspection training and qualification opportunities to learners across all regions of Thailand.
Following the positive feedback and successful completion of two CSWIP 3.0 classes in December 2024, TWI Thailand recognised the growing demand and enthusiasm for welding inspection knowledge and workplace safety standards in the southern region. In response, we returned to RUTS this June with renewed determination to further enhance the skills and safety awareness of future inspectors.
These outstation classes are part of TWI Thailand’s broader participation in the Southeast Asia Skills Enhancement Programme (SEASEP)—a regional initiative aimed at developing technical skills and enhancing employability among students and working professionals. SEASEP focuses on bridging the gap between academic learning and industry requirements by delivering internationally recognised training and certifications that contribute to safer and more efficient workplaces.
This is the first time TWI Thailand has conducted training in Southern Thailand, following previous outstation classes held in Bangkok, Eastern, and Northeastern regions. By partnering with RUTS, a leading institution in Southern Thailand, TWI aims to upskill aspiring welding inspectors and extend high-quality training to areas beyond traditional industrial hubs—making technical education more accessible and inclusive.
TWI Thailand remains deeply committed to supporting the development of Thailand’s workforce. Our goal is to equip students and industry personnel with globally benchmarked skills that align with international standards and enable them to contribute meaningfully to national and regional industries.
As we continue to expand our outreach, TWI Thailand will remain a trusted partner in delivering quality training, fostering professional growth, and preparing a new generation of qualified personnel to support the evolving needs of the welding and inspection sector.
