TWI Thailand successfully conducted two classes of CSWIP 3.0 Visual Welding Inspector training programme on 21–22 July 2025 and 23–24 July 2025 under the South East Asia Skills Enhancement Programme (SEASEP) at Rajamangala University of Technology Lanna (RMUTL).

The SEASEP initiative, led by TWI, aims to enhance the competency of students and industry personnel across South East Asia by providing internationally recognised training and certification opportunities. Its key objectives are to develop a skilled workforce, raise technical standards, and create safer workplaces through globally benchmarked practices in welding and inspection.

This training at RMUTL highlights TWI Thailand’s continued commitment to developing the skills of future inspectors and technical professionals. By delivering training aligned with international standards, TWI ensures that participants are equipped to contribute to industry growth and meet the increasing demand for qualified personnel.

While TWI Thailand regularly conducts outstation classes across Bangkok, the Eastern, Southern, and Northeastern regions, this marks a significant step in extending its training footprint to the Northern region of Thailand at RMUTL, Chiang Mai Province. The initiative reflects TWI’s mission to make world-class knowledge accessible nationwide, empowering future inspectors with the right skills to support safer workplaces and the advancement of Thailand’s industrial sector.
