TWI Thailand recently conducted two outstation CSWIP 3.0 classes on 15–16 October 2025 at Thai Nippon Steel Engineering & Construction Corporation Ltd. (TNS) in Chachoengsao. These sessions were part of TWI’s ongoing efforts to make internationally recognised training more accessible to industry professionals and students across Thailand.
The CSWIP 3.0 Visual Welding Inspector course introduces participants to fundamental inspection concepts, welding terminology, and quality control practices — providing a solid foundation for individuals aspiring to advance in the welding inspection field.
This initiative aligns with the objectives of the South East Asia Skills Enhancement Programme (SEASEP) — a regional collaboration led by TWI and its partners. SEASEP aims to enhance the skills of technical personnel across Southeast Asia by raising training and qualification standards to meet international benchmarks, ultimately strengthening the region’s workforce and industrial competitiveness.
Through these outstation classes, TWI Thailand reinforces its commitment to developing the skills and competencies of students and industry personnel in alignment with international standards. By expanding access to high-quality training, TWI continues to contribute to the growth of Thailand’s industrial sector and the development of a highly qualified local workforce.
Building on the success of previous collaborations, TNS and TWI Thailand have continued to strengthen their partnership through the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed in 2023 under the SEASEP Programme. As a result of this ongoing collaboration, TNS officially became a TWI Industrial Member in August 2025, further solidifying the shared vision of advancing technical excellence and workforce development in Thailand’s engineering and construction sectors.
