TWI Malaysia has recently appointed a new training representative in Sabah. RIA Academy and Consultancy (RAC) Sdn.Bhd., which is located at Kota Kinabalu specialises in the provision of inspection consultant services in the oil and gas industry. Since 2003, RIA Solutions has been offering training services to the industry through its group of companies and, in 2020, after the formation of RIA Academy and Consultancy as the subsidiary to the main company, the company has focused on delivering competency training for the oil and gas industry, along with career development consultation as well as an occupational safety and health training programme.
TWI Malaysia, in collaboration with RIA Academy, will be offering a wide range of CSWIP qualifications including Welding Inspection, Non-Destructive Testing, and Painting and Coating inspection in Sabah state.
By collaborating with TWI, RIA Academy Consultancy is aiming to assist its clients in developing a skillful workforce certified to the globally accepted standards.
Starting from July 2022, Sabah candidates can enroll on training and examinations at RIA Academy Consultancy in Sabah using the equipment and facilities available to bring the CSWIP certification to candidates who wish to get upskilled in the oil and gas industry, which is a major economic vehicle of the state.
