Azer is one of TWI Azerbaijan’s most talented and highly educated and promising students. He graduated with a degree in Mining Engineering from the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University. In addition, he holds a master's degree in business administration (MBA).
He worked in Shah Deniz 2 Topsides Facilities Project as QA/QC Inspector (Welding & Piping) during 2014-2016 and he was involved in the SOCAR Ammonia and Urea Complex Project between 2016 and 2018. Currently, he is employed by NOV as a Quality Assurance/Quality Control Coordinator.
After participating in the Welding Inspector course at TWI Azerbaijan, he obtained the international Welding Inspector certificate. He later participated in the Senior Welding Inspector course and obtained the international Senior Welding Inspector certificate.
Following aquiring these international certificates, his areas of expertise were expanded to include Quality Management System, Quality Assurance & Quality Control, Pressure Systems and Integrity Inspection, Welding and Piping Inspection, Non-Destructive Examinations, and others.
Azer strongly encourages all welders, inspectors, and anyone else who wishes to advance their career in this field to obtain TWI certifications:
