TWI Thailand Supports TNS Workforce Development

Thu, 21 May, 2026

On 20 May 2026, Satanphop Amsupan joined Thai Nippon Steel (TNS) in welcoming Samart Pattamasukhon and his delegation during a facility visit and collaboration discussion held in Chachoengsao, Thailand.

The visit provided an opportunity for representatives from industry, skills development, and international certification organisations to discuss future collaboration aimed at strengthening workforce capabilities and advancing technical skills development in Thailand.

During the visit, TNS showcased TWI’s Augmented Reality (AR) Welding Simulators, which are currently stationed at the TNS personnel development unit. The demonstration allowed executives from the Department of Skill Development (DSD) to experience how advanced training technologies can support welding education, improve practical learning outcomes, and enhance workforce readiness through safe and efficient simulation-based training.

The discussion highlighted the strong strategic synergy between TWI as a globally recognised standards and training organisation, TNS as a leading industrial sector representative, and DSD as Thailand’s core national skill development agency. Together, these organisations play an important role in driving workforce transformation and supporting the development of highly skilled professionals capable of meeting international industry standards.

This collaboration reflects a shared commitment to strengthening Thailand’s technical workforce through innovation, industry engagement, and internationally aligned training solutions that support long-term industrial growth and competitiveness.
