From 13–16 May 2026, INTERMACH 2026 brought together leading industrial professionals, technology providers, and workforce development organisations at BITEC Bangna. As part of the exhibition, TWI Thailand demonstrated its continued commitment to advancing Thailand’s welding and engineering capabilities through strategic partnerships, innovative training technologies, and active support for national skills development initiatives.
A key foundation of TWI Thailand’s participation is its ongoing strategic collaboration with the Department of Skill Development (DSD), the primary government authority responsible for establishing and promoting national workforce competency standards under Thailand’s Ministry of Labour. Through this partnership, TWI Thailand continues to support the development of internationally aligned welding and engineering skills across the country.
Throughout the four-day exhibition, TWI Thailand operated its main booth at AC35-B, where the team provided consultancy and guidance on globally recognised certification schemes and technical services, including CSWIP, BGAS-CSWIP, Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), and engineering solutions for industrial professionals and organisations.
At the same time, TWI Thailand played a prominent role at the Welding Skill Development Academy (WelDA) booth, showcasing advanced AR Welding Simulators designed to modernise and accelerate welder training. The interactive technology attracted significant attention from visitors, highlighting how digital innovation can enhance practical skills development and workforce readiness.
The showcase was further strengthened through technical collaboration with Thai Nippon Steel (TNS), whose experts joined TWI Thailand at the WelDA booth to provide live demonstrations and technical guidance to visitors. This collaboration reflected the strong connection between industry, training providers, and government agencies in supporting Thailand’s industrial growth.
During the exhibition, the DSD also hosted the Skill Development Competition in Welding, bringing together highly skilled welding talents from across Thailand. As part of its contribution to the event, TWI Thailand acted as an official sponsor of the welding competition through its support of the AR technology showcase and technical activities, reinforcing its dedication to welding excellence and workforce development.
The event concluded with a significant milestone for TWI Thailand. On the closing day, the company was officially recognised on stage by the DSD and awarded a Certificate of Appreciation in acknowledgment of its role as a competition sponsor and technical partner. The recognition highlighted the successful and growing cooperation between TWI Thailand and the Thai government in strengthening the country’s industrial skills ecosystem.
Following the success of INTERMACH 2026, TWI Thailand remains committed to working closely with the DSD, WelDA, and Thai Nippon Steel to deliver world-class training, certification, and technical solutions that support the continued advancement of Thailand’s industrial sector.
