TWI SEA has formalised a strategic collaboration with Terengganu Safety Training Centre (TSTC) through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), marking a significant step towards strengthening industry-focused training, competency development, and technical collaboration in the region.
The MoU was signed by Encik Ariff Zaidi bin Ahmad Anuar, Chief Executive Officer of Terengganu Safety Training Centre (TSTC), and Encik Fauzi bin Mohd Kassim, Director of TWI Technology (S.E.Asia) Sdn Bhd.
The purpose of this MoU is to strengthen, promote, and develop cooperation between both organisations, leveraging their respective expertise, facilities, and technical capabilities to support workforce development and industry needs.
Through this partnership, TSTC and TWI Southeast Asia aim to enhance the quality, accessibility, and relevance of professional training programmes, while fostering continuous improvement and innovation across technical and industrial sectors.
Under the agreement, both parties will collaborate across the following key areas:
- Training & Competency Development
Joint delivery of high-quality training programmes focused on developing skilled and competent professionals aligned with industry standards.
- Assistance to Training Facilitators
Support for trainers and facilitators through technical guidance, knowledge sharing, and professional development initiatives.
- Utilisation of Facilities & Equipment
Shared use of training facilities, laboratories, and equipment to maximise resources and enhance hands-on learning experiences.
- Programme Development & Accreditation
Collaborative development of new training programmes and support for accreditation to meet national and international requirements.
- Promotion of Programmes, Products, and Services
Joint promotional activities to increase awareness and outreach of training programmes, technical services, and solutions offered by both organisations.
- Research, Technical Advisory, and Consultancy
Cooperation in applied research, technical advisory services, and consultancy projects to support industry challenges and advancements.
- Quality Assurance and Continuous Improvement
Alignment on quality assurance practices and continuous improvement initiatives to maintain excellence in training delivery and services.
This MoU reflects a shared commitment by TWI Technology (S.E.Asia) Sdn Bhd and Terengganu Safety Training Centre (TSTC) Sdn Bhd to contribute to sustainable skills development, technical excellence, and industry readiness in Malaysia and the wider Southeast Asia region.
