TWI South East Asia participated in Jelajah AIM TVET with Cikgu Saarani, a career exposure programme organised by Pusat Aspirasi Anak Perak (PASAK) at Stadium Indera Mulia, Ipoh.
As part of the event, Mr Daniel, Regional Underwater Training Manager at TWI SEA, was invited as one of the guest speakers to deliver a session titled “Underwater Welding & Offshore: High-Skill, High-Risk Career.” His presentation introduced students to the exciting opportunities within the offshore and underwater welding industry, highlighting the specialised skills, professional pathways, and growing demand for qualified personnel in this sector.
The programme aimed to provide young students with greater exposure to Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) careers while encouraging them to explore high-value, industry-driven professions. Through interactive sharing and real-world insights, participants gained a deeper understanding of the rewarding career prospects available in the engineering and offshore industries.
TWI SEA is proud to support initiatives that inspire the next generation of skilled professionals and strengthen awareness of TVET as a pathway to sustainable and rewarding careers.
