TWI Malaysia was honoured to participate in the National TVET Day 2026 celebration, held from 5–7 June 2026 at Dataran Putrajaya. As the official exhibitor for Hub 1: TVET Exhibition and Industry Collaboration under the Advanced Manufacturing sector, TWI Malaysia joined industry leaders, educators, government agencies, and aspiring professionals in promoting the importance of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) in Malaysia.
National TVET Day, celebrated annually on 2 June, recognises the significant contributions of students, educators, training institutions, and industry partners in strengthening Malaysia’s skilled workforce and supporting the nation’s talent development agenda. The event serves as a platform to showcase the opportunities available through TVET and its role in driving economic growth and industrial advancement.
Throughout the three-day exhibition, TWI Malaysia engaged with students, graduates, industry professionals, and members of the public, sharing insights into career pathways, professional training, certification programmes, and the growing demand for skilled talent within the advanced manufacturing sector.
The event highlighted several key objectives, including increasing public awareness and understanding of TVET opportunities, particularly among young people seeking future-ready careers. It also aimed to strengthen access to TVET programmes as a preferred educational and professional pathway through coordinated efforts involving agencies across 12 ministries.
In addition, National TVET Day 2026 reinforced the ongoing transformation of Malaysia’s TVET ecosystem by empowering young graduates and professionals with industry-relevant technological knowledge, applied sciences expertise, and practical competencies required to meet evolving workforce demands.
TWI Malaysia remains committed to supporting the development of highly skilled professionals through internationally recognised training, certification, and industry collaboration initiatives. Participation in events such as National TVET Day reflects our continued dedication to advancing technical excellence, fostering industry engagement, and contributing to the growth of Malaysia’s future workforce.
We would like to thank the organisers and all visitors who took the time to connect with our team during the exhibition. We look forward to continuing our support of Malaysia’s TVET development and collaborating with stakeholders across industry and education to build a stronger, more skilled nation.
