TWI Malaysia welcomed representatives from the Malaysia Board of Technologists (MBOT) for a facility visit and interview session as part of MBOT’s initiative to produce a PDC Success Story Video.
The video aims to showcase the success stories and valuable experiences of Professional Development Centre (PDC) training providers that have successfully obtained certification and contributed to the professional development of technologists and technicians in Malaysia.
TWI Malaysia is one of the training providers registered with MBOT for Continuing Professional Development (CPD) hours. Currently, 20 TWI Malaysia programmes are registered under MBOT, providing participants with the opportunity to earn CPD hours upon successful completion of the relevant programmes. This registration supports TWI Malaysia’s commitment to providing industry-relevant technical training that contributes to ongoing professional development.
As part of the visit, the MBOT team toured TWI Malaysia’s facilities, gaining an insight into the training environment, technical capabilities, and practical learning facilities available to participants.
The visit also included interviews with four TWI Malaysia team members, who shared their experiences and perspectives on technical training, professional development, and the importance of building industry-ready skills:

The interviews provided an opportunity to highlight TWI Malaysia’s approach to technical education and its role in supporting professionals through specialist training and skills development.
