TWI Malaysia marked an important week dedicated to health, safety and community support with the launch of its Breast Cancer Awareness and Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Week 2026, held from 28 October to 2 November 2026.
Bringing together employees in support of meaningful causes, the initiative highlighted the importance of breast cancer awareness, workplace health and safety, and building a healthier and more supportive working environment.
Standing Together for Breast Cancer Awareness
The event brought employees together in a show of solidarity, with colleagues dressed in pink to demonstrate their support for breast cancer awareness.
A variety of food and dessert booths were set up as part of the initiative, with 100% of sales proceeds dedicated to supporting breast cancer awareness and care through a relevant charity or hospital. The fundraising activity provided an opportunity for employees to contribute to the cause while coming together for a shared purpose.
The initiative reinforced the importance of raising awareness, encouraging support and promoting a collective commitment to breast cancer care.
Launching Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Week 2026
In collaboration with the Quality, Health, Safety and Environment (QHSE) Department, TWI SEA also officially kicked off Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Week 2026, running from 28 October to 2 November 2026.
The initiative focused on strengthening workplace health and safety awareness while encouraging employees to take an active role in maintaining a safe working environment.
As part of the programme, representatives from Ministry of Health clinics delivered informative talks, providing employees with valuable health-related information and greater awareness of preventive healthcare.
Employees also had access to free medical check-ups, encouraging them to prioritise their health and take proactive steps towards personal well-being.
Promoting a Healthier and Safer Workplace
Through the combined Breast Cancer Awareness and OSH Week initiatives, TWI SEA demonstrated its continued commitment to employee well-being, community support and workplace safety.
By bringing together awareness activities, fundraising efforts, health education and medical check-ups, the event highlighted how collective participation can contribute to a healthier and more supportive workplace.
TWI SEA remains committed to fostering a workplace culture where health, safety and well-being are shared priorities, while encouraging employees to support meaningful causes within the wider community.
