TWI Thailand 2025: A Year of Impact and Growth

Mon, 22 December, 2025

As 2025 draws to a close, TWI Thailand reflects on a year defined by community engagement, skills development, industry collaboration, and nationwide impact. Throughout the year, we remained committed to our mission of developing competent, confident professionals while nurturing an inclusive culture and strengthening Thailand’s industrial workforce.

Cultivating Our Community & Culture

At TWI Thailand, people and culture remain at the heart of everything we do. In 2025, we actively fostered an inclusive, respectful, and aware workplace culture through meaningful initiatives.

We proudly celebrated International Women’s Day 2025, recognising the contributions, resilience, and leadership of women across industries. This was followed by World Culture Week 2025, where we embraced diversity and cultural appreciation, reinforcing the value of unity in a global professional environment.

To encourage self-awareness and inclusivity, TWI Thailand participated in Unconscious Bias Talk, creating space for open dialogue and learning. We also marked Breast Cancer Awareness, using our platform to spread awareness and reinforce the importance of health, early detection, and support.

These initiatives reflect our belief that strong technical capability must be supported by strong values and a caring community.

Empowering Women’s Upskilling

In line with our commitment to inclusive growth, TWI Thailand continued to actively support women’s participation in technical upskilling.

As part of International Women’s Day, we delivered a Women’s Free Class under the Southeast Asia Skills Enhancement Programme (SEASEP). This initiative aimed to remove barriers to access, empower women with industry-relevant skills, and encourage greater female participation in technical professions. The response reaffirmed the importance of creating equal opportunities for learning and career advancement.

Industry Collaboration and Knowledge Sharing

2025 was a strong year for technical engagement and industry collaboration. TWI Thailand actively shared expertise across multiple platforms to support innovation and workforce readiness.

Key activities included:

  • A Welding Seminar conducted to exchange technical knowledge and industry best practices.
  • A Workshop on Welding for Shipbuilding and Ship Repair, supporting specialised skills for marine and heavy industries.
  • Participation in a Workshop on Assessment Methods for Diploma Curriculum Standards, contributing expertise towards education quality and alignment with industry needs.
  • Visit to the Trailways Laboratory at RMUTL, strengthening collaboration between academia and industry in Northern Thailand.
  • Participation in the Thai Boiler Event, engaging with industry professionals on safety, standards, and technical excellence.

These engagements reflect our role not only as a training provider, but also as a technical partner to industry and education institutions.

Partnerships, Milestones & Upskilling Impact

TWI Thailand continued to expand its reach and long-term impact through strategic partnerships and programme milestones led by Mr. Satanphop Amsupan, Country Manager of TWI Thailand.
