TWI SEA and Don Bosco – ONE TVET Philippines have officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), marking a key milestone in regional collaboration for technical and vocational education and training (TVET) across Southeast Asia.
This partnership reinforces both organisations’ shared commitment to enhancing skills development, promoting industry-relevant qualifications, and empowering youth and professionals to achieve international competency standards.
The collaboration is established under the South East Asia Skills Enhancement Programme (SEASEP), a regional initiative focused on improving TVET quality and alignment with global industry needs. Supported by the Lloyd’s Register Foundation (LRF), SEASEP aims to strengthen safety, technical excellence, and employability across the region.
Through this partnership, TWI SEA and Don Bosco – ONE TVET Philippines will work closely to:
- Expand access to internationally recognised qualifications within the Philippines.
- Deliver industry-aligned training programmes to meet evolving market demands.
- Support research, innovation, and workforce capacity building in emerging technical fields.
Representatives from both organisations – Makhzan Mirza Malek, Dean Mallaburn, Fr. Jose Dindo S. Vitug, and Ms. Jhenly Asedillas Gopez – reaffirmed their commitment to fostering a future-ready workforce through collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement in training delivery.
This MoU formalises a strong partnership aimed at bridging the gap between education and industry, ensuring that learners and professionals across the Philippines and Southeast Asia are equipped with the skills required for a safer, more sustainable, and competitive future.
