Thu, 16 May, 2024

TWI Thailand, in collaboration with Thai Nippon Steel Engineering & Construction Corporation Ltd. (TNS), participated as a partner exhibitor at the PTTEP SSHE FORUM 2024 held at ICONSIAM, Bangkok. This event, organized by PTT Exploration and Production Public Company Limited, aimed to promote and exchange knowledge and technology in safety, striving towards the goal of zero accidents in operations.

Themed "Risk Normalization" the forum provided an excellent platform for industry leaders to share innovative solutions and best practices. TWI Thailand and TNS shared a booth to promote the Southeast Asia Skills Enhancement Program (SEASEP). The booth featured demonstrations of advanced welding and BGAS painting equipment, along with training samples that highlighted the latest in safety technology and techniques.

One of the key attractions at the TWI Thailand booth was the Augmented Reality (AR) welding simulator. This cutting-edge technology allows for realistic welding practice without the inherent risks associated with real equipment, such as fire sparks and excessive heat. By utilizing AR technology, TWI Thailand is enhancing training safety and efficiency, aligning perfectly with the forum’s focus on achieving zero accidents.

In addition to showcasing their innovative safety solutions, TWI Thailand and TNS highlighted their recent Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed in November 2023, solidifying their commitment to the SEASEP initiative. This collaboration underscores both organizations' dedication to advancing safety standards and workforce competence in the region.

The PTTEP SSHE FORUM 2024 at ICONSIAM was a significant event for TWI Thailand, providing an opportunity to demonstrate their leadership in safety training and technology. Through their participation, TWI Thailand continues to support the industry's move towards safer, more efficient operational practices.
