Webinar on the Roles, Functions and Accountabilities of a Welding Inspector

TWI Malaysia will host the fifth session of its technical webinar series, titled “Welding Inspector: Roles, Functions and Accountabilities”, on 27 November 2026 (Friday), from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm Malaysia Time.

The webinar will be delivered by Mr Asyraf, Lecturer – Welding Inspection, and will focus on the responsibilities and scope of work of a welding inspector, including the limitations of their role and accountabilities throughout the welding process.

The session will cover the key stages of welding inspection and monitoring, including activities before, during and after welding. It will provide participants with an understanding of the welding inspector’s role in monitoring inspection activities and supporting quality assurance in welding operations.

The webinar is aimed at professionals and individuals seeking to develop their knowledge of welding inspection practices and the responsibilities associated with the role.
