Mon, 24 August, 2026

TWI Middle East marked a significant milestone with the successful delivery of its first CSWIP Welding Inspector training programme in Ghana, held from 17–20 August 2026. The programme represents an important step in expanding access to internationally recognised welding inspection training across West Africa.

Delivered by experienced TWI lecturer, Muhammad Islam, the four-day course brought together industry professionals seeking to strengthen their technical knowledge and inspection capabilities in line with international best practice.

Advancing welding inspection expertise

The inaugural CSWIP Welding Inspector training programme was designed to enhance participants understanding of welding inspection principles, quality assurance requirements and practical inspection methodologies. Through a combination of classroom learning and technical discussions, delegates developed the skills required to support safer, higher-quality fabrication and engineering projects.

The training also reinforces TWI Middle East's commitment to developing competent inspection professionals and supporting the growing demand for skilled personnel across the energy, oil and gas, manufacturing and infrastructure sectors.

TWI Middle East's authorised representative in Nigeria, Dynaquest Energy Ltd played a key role in coordinating and organising the training, contributing significantly to its successful delivery in Ghana.
