TWI, which is at the forefront of developing and promoting state-of-the-art technologies, showcased innovations in materials application - focused on non-metallic materials alongside welding, joining and allied technologies, as well as solutions, including software applications.

Dr. Abbas Mohimi, the TWI Membership, Innovation & Global Operations - Business Development Group Manager presented the article, “Machine Learning for Upstream Piping System Corrosion Prediction Advancement”, at ADIPEC. The article, which was authored by Mehran Izadkhah, dives deep into the development and implementation of an independent ML approach by TWI – specifically designed to predict the corrosion rate of piping systems in upstream facilities.

TWI's presence at ADIPEC also offered an opportunity to discuss training and development strategies, emphasising the importance of a highly skilled workforce in adapting to technological advancements that offer clear career and professional growth.
