TWI proudly participated in the Azerbaijan-Turkiye Investment Forum, commemorating the 100th anniversary of National Leader Heydar Aliyev and the establishment of the Turkiye Republic. The event kicked off on December 21, 2023, in Baku, Azerbaijan.
The Azerbaijan-Turkiye Investment Forum, organized with the support of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Ministry of Trade of the Republic of Turkiye, the Financial Office of the President of the Republic of Turkiye, AZPROMO (Export and Investment Promotion Agency), and the public Union of Turkiye-Azerbaijan Businessmen and Industrialists (TUIB), brought together government officials and representatives from various sectors.
Distinguished speakers at the forum included the Minister of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mikayil Jabbarov, the Head of the Finance Department of the President of Turkiye Goksel Asan, and the Minister of Trade of the Republic of Turkiye Omer Bolat.
The event featured panel sessions addressing crucial topics such as investment opportunities in Azerbaijan, the role of transport and logistics centres in boosting trade turnover, agriculture and the food industry, “green” energy, the defence industry, and health tourism.
With a focus on strengthening economic ties and regional development, the forum provided a platform for discussing strategic issues related to the expansion of economic cooperation. Participants explored steps to create robust economic relations between Azerbaijan and Turkiye, highlighting potential investment opportunities.
