PHOENIX SCIENTIFIC INDUSTRIES LTD [PSI] celebrates 20 years of development of innovative technologies for the processing of high performance materials; we design, manufacture and install systems for R&D to turnkey production plant.
Areas of expertise include powder metallurgy, advanced melting, rapid solidification and deposition systems involving amorphous, microcrystalline and 'nano' structures in metals and ceramics using atomisation, melt spinning, wire casting, CVD/CVI and EB-PVD amongst others.
PSI has a large knowledge base of metal powders having atomised 1200+ novel alloy compositions on its in-house gas atomisers. Bespoke atomised metal powders are available for clients on a toll-basis.
