GeoSmart presented at Earth Technology Expo in Florence

Findings from the GeoSmart project were presented to geothermal energy stakeholders during the Earth Technology Expo in Florence.

The networking session, which took place on 6 October 2022, was organised by the Tuscany Region and CoSviG, as the managing body of the regional cluster on energy and green economy DTE2V.

The session, ‘geothermal and hydrogen for the energy transition,’ offered information about the technological applications and innovations envisaged through the guidelines of the EU’s ‘Next Generation EU’ recovery package.

This included information on the aims and outcomes of innovative projects such as GeoSmart and fellow geothermal collaborative initiative, GeoHex, which were both presented by Spike Renewables.
