TWI had its most successful ever Farnborough International Air Show this year, exhibiting in the newly opened permanent Hall 1 building.
The TWI team of Richard Freeman (Associate Director), Paul Burling (Defence Programme Manager), Chris Wiseman (Aerospace Membership Manager) and Nick Edge (Business Development Consultant) were available in the new Hall 1 exhibition building throughout the Air Show, which ran from 16-22 July, to discuss how TWI's services can support the aerospace industry.
The team were busy throughout, and had key meetings with several TWI Industrial Members on current and future projects, and made many new contacts.
Several TWI colleagues also visited the Show to support customer meetings and future activities.
Officially opened by the UK Prime Minister, Farnborough Air Show is the ‘must-attend’ event for the aerospace industry providing a platform for the industry to do business.
Organisers said that 2018's Show was the most globally-attended with nearly 100 countries represented and an unprecedented number of military and civil commercial delegations.
Following on from this year’s success TWI has booked its stand in Hall 1 for the next Farnborough Air Show, scheduled 20-26 July 2020.
