Engineers from one of TWI’s Industrial Member companies recently visited the organisation’s headquarters, to find out more about how TWI can support their work.
The group of engineers from testing and inspection company Applus travelled to Cambridge for a workshop focusing on advanced non-destructive testing (NDT) and inspection, featuring presentations from TWI’s Paul Jackson, Ivan Pinson and Ben Knight-Gregson.
Following the presentations, Oil, Gas and Petrochemicals Programme Manager Caroline Young led the engineers on a tour of TWI’s new NDT facilities, highlighting the enhanced technical capabilities and equipment.
The workshop was also attended by Oil and Gas Sector Manager David Galbraith, who recently held a similar ‘lunch and learn’ workshop for Industrial Member company CRC-Evans in Aberdeen. The focus on that occasion was welding integrity and inspection.
These events are an excellent way for Industrial Member companies to find out how they can make the most of their membership. We would be happy to accommodate Members, either at our Cambridge headquarters or at your own premises.
