Business Weekly's 25 Year Celebration at Queens' College, Cambridge culminated in an awards ceremony to recognise those individuals and businesses that have over the past year made a significant contribution to the region's success. TWI is proud to have been named International Trade Champion, and received the award from the new Head of UKTI East, Alan Pain.
Introduced by British Cycling's Tony Purnell, a former Cambridge award winner, and presided over by the mastermind of Business Weekly, Tony Quested, the evening also saw the introduction of the Kate Gross Award for Social Enterprise, and its presentation to Ann Cotton, founder of Camfed.
On receiving the International Trade Award, Christoph Wiesner, TWI Chief Executive said:
'It is great to be recognised by industry peers in this way and a fitting reward for TWI staff all over the world who have worked so hard to ensure our success in the last few years.'
