Technical challenge and innovation in welding engineering

Introduction 

The AWFTE will be jointly hosting their next Forum with the Southern Branch of The Welding Institute on the 13th March at Portsmouth University. The day will focus on marine engineering, welder training and education in southern England. Industry experts from Lloyds Register, Lincoln Electric and TWI Ltd will be available to contribute to the discussion as well as presenting updates on their specialist areas.

Bringing together experts and practitioners, the day will be an opportunity to focus on the needs of key local industries and will bring together training providers, employers and new technologies so that all participants can both contribute and take away fresh ideas and perspectives on the topic.
