TAGSI/FESI Symposium 2020

Seminars 30 April 2020

TAGSI/FESI Symposium 2020:
Structural Integrity Developments for a Competitive UK Nuclear Industry

TAGSI (UK Technical Advisory Group on the Structural Integrity of high integrity plant) and FESI (UK Forum for Engineering Structural Integrity) are holding their 2020 Symposium on structural integrity developments for a competitive UK nuclear industry.

A key challenge to the nuclear industry is to be able to reduce through life costs. This covers design, operation, life extension and the decommissioning stages. It is here that structural integrity consideration can contribute to reduce cost while ensuring safety margins are retained.

The programme will be finalised over the coming months but the Symposium, as with previous, similar events over recent years, will provide talks from leading experts in the nuclear industry to provide an overview of how structural integrity can be used to help ensure a safe, yet competitive nuclear industry.

Further details will be provided in due course so, please reserve the date and register for the event.

Who should attend?

Engineers/Consultant/Managers - anyone with an interest in how structural integrity is used in assessing plant and how developments can be beneficial from a cost and safety perspective.
