On June 14 2022 TWI is hosting a Fusion and Big Science-dedicated event at our headquarters in Cambridge, UK.
This all-day event will take place in-person and include presentations from a range of speakers from both TWI and our Industrial Members, all discussing developments around the theme of ‘Manufacturing and Material Challenges in Fusion and Big Science’.
The event will also include a guided tour around TWI Cambridge’s laboratories to meet the technical teams and see demonstrations.
We are also pleased to invite non-Industrial Members to attend who are interested in learning more about TWI’s Nuclear sector and touring the TWI Cambridge facilities.
Note – at the time of writing, there are still some 20 minute speaker slots available for Industrial Members of TWI to present. Please contact steve.dodds@twi.co.uk for more details.

- 0845 - 0915 Arrival/refreshments
- 0915 – 0925 Welcome and overview of event
- 0925 – 1200 20 minute technical presentations
- 1200 – 1245 Buffet lunch
- 1245 – 1345 TWI Members’ Core Research Programme update and 2023 topics discussion or Non-Members session ‘An Introduction to TWI Industrial Membership’ running in parallel
- 1400 - 1600 Tour of TWI facilities or Pre-booked 1-2-1 technical meetings running in parallel
