Offshore Energy Technical Group Event:
British Manufacturing and Fabrication in the Offshore Energy Industry
With Brexit on the horizon and the challenges of competing with low-cost labour nations, it is ever more important that British based manufacturing differentiates itself from international competitors - whether that be through using novel technology or providing superior engineering skills.
This event will demonstrate how British based companies working in fabrication and manufacturing in the offshore energy industry have successfully maintained their competitive advantage, and how they will continue that into the future. There will be a mix of interesting new technologies and examples of how British engineering has been successfully used to overcome complex project challenges. The day will involve companies operating in the oil and gas, renewables and decommissioning sectors.
