Technical Group Meeting Pressure and Process Plant

The next meeting of this technical group is on 10 November 2011 and will be held at TWI, Cambridge.
The subject of the meeting will be 'Metallurgical, Welding, Quality and NDT Issues in Process Piping'

20th Technical Seminar of the Institute of Rail Welding 'Strategic aspects of rail welding' plus a special session on advances in ultrasonic testing

New welding and inspection techniques for rail applications are constantly being developed. Such
developments are driven by economic and/or productivity factors and by the quest for continuous improvement in weld quality and reliability.

Recent significant developments in arc welding and in ultrasonic testing are likely to have a major impact on
current practices. Both aspects will be covered at this event with attention being paid to a number of initiatives and projects dealing with ultrasonic testing of rails and rail welds. For more information, contact us.
