Management of Ageing Plant - 25 April 2007

This IMechE event is being co-sponsored by TWI. This one-day seminar will be of particular interest to engineers with the responsibility of maintaining high hazard installations both on- and off-shore. The seminar is being held in the wake of the publication of a new HSE Research Report on this subject, and most of the authors of this report will be present.

Yokohama JSAE exhibition - 23-25 May 2007

TWI will be part of the UK@JSAE stand in Yokohama during the Japanese Society of Automotive Engineers event. This annual exhibition is held concurrently with the JSAE Congress. It is the leading automotive engineering show in Asia and a key showcase for automotive technologies.

Richard Dolby - Rolls-Royce Prize

This is a new award to be presented every two years by the WJS Younger Members' Committee to the young person (or group of people, if involved in a joint project) who have no more than five years experience since finishing full time education. The deadline for applications is 23 March 2007 and the application form may be downloaded from wjs_younger_news.html

Engineering Structural Integrity - Research, Development and Application

This is the ninth in a series of international conferences on the topic of Engineering Structural Integrity Assessment (ESIA9). The Conference is now established as a major forum for dissemination and discussion amongst industrial, academic and regulatory bodies in this field. It addresses all aspects of this multi-disciplinary subject including the status of assessment technologies and methodologies in relation to operating plant, structures and components. BCGA conference 19 April 2007
