Cure monitoring workshop

A one-day workshop on the benefits of cure monitoring will be held on Thursday 7 October 2004 at NPL, Teddington, Middlesex.

This is an ideal opportunity for companies as yet unfamiliar with the business potential of cure monitoring, as well as plastics processors, material suppliers, cure instrumentation manufacturers and researchers to participate in discussions on the cost and quality benefits of cure monitoring within real industrial environments.

The workshop is part of an on-going project involving a collaborative group including NPL and TWI, both of whom supply an impartial service to industry.

For further information and enrolment, contact Maria Lodeiro at NPL. E-mail:

What's in the pipeline?

This seminar is a condensed version of the successful WJS Conference held at TWI in Great Abington in May 2003.

It will give a comprehensive update in developments in materials, welding methods and non-destructive testing enabling delegates to exploit recent developments in pipe and pipeline materials, make informed choices about welding processes and NDT techniques and learn about developments, novel applications and past problems.

The event will be of interest to senior managers of pipeline companies or plant operatives, engineers and technicians, production/manufacturing managers, engineers, technicians or supervisors, designers and materials technologists, quality managers/engineers and welding and NDT equipment engineers.
