Weldex '99 will be a key opportunity to view the latest innovations within the UK welding industry. Research by the organisers indicates that over 80% of exhibitors plan to use the event as a platform for promoting new products or services, technology developments or strategic alliances.

Over 300 companies will be appearing at Weldex, 18-21 October 1999 at the NEC Birmingham. The products and technologies on display will include: robotics; welding consumables; welding equipment; cutting equipment; fume extraction; protective wear; power tools; air tools; abrasives; and grinding machines.

To help visitors grasp the commercial impact of major 'near market' developments, a series of workshops will run throughout the show, presented by TWI and other experts. Another special visitor attraction will be an IT Pavilion, where TWI will demonstrate the corporate website and its online information and advice service for engineers. Rounding off the opening day of Weldex will be an Awards Evening, where the industry can discuss the day's events and celebrate its achievements. To reserve seats at the Awards Dinner, please contact Tina Aubin on 01322 660070.

Admission to the exhibition is free of charge. For more information on Weldex '99, call 01705 892730 or visit the website at www.weldexpo.com
