Connect, no. 102, September/October 1999, p.8
A one-day workshop on Adhesives for packaging will take place on 13 October 1999 at TWI. The workshop is designed to give a good all-round understanding of the use of adhesives in packaging applications - whether it be for the food or medical industry.
This event is the last in a series of highly successful workshops TWI has run in conjunction with NPL and AEA Technology Ltd, as part of the DTI's Performance of adhesive joints programme.
This event follows on from the highly successful Technical Open Day that was held on 30 June 1999. Delegates were able to see the new Lotus Elise 111S and Lotus Esprit GT3, and obtain information about Thrust SCC, the Ultra Light Steel Auto Body, low cost technology and its application to civil aircraft structures and a novel technique for enhancing the ultrasound visibility of medical devices.
Also, the Help Desk at TWI provides a focal point for answers to all your questions. You can obtain Best Practice Guides, Case Studies and practical advice to assist you in decision making.
