TWI Malaysia participated in the first public exhibition since the outbreak of the Covid 19.
During the three-day event starting on 18 November 2021, representatives from the business development team welcomed visitors to TWI Malaysia’s booth and briefed them about TWI’s training and certification capabilities in the fields of welding, welding inspection, NDT as well as blasting and painting operation and inspection.
The summit which took place at KLCC Convention Centre officiated on 18 November 2021 with the participation of more than 300 exhibitors from various categories including Manufacturing processes and Mechanics, Information, Communication and Technology (ICT), and Electronics to Civil Engineering and Power and Electricity. The event was officiated with a speech and meet and greet by the state’s chief minister.
Selangor chief minister Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari said SIBS 2021 apart from being a key annual initiative by Selangor, has been one of Asean’s premier business summits, where local and international industry players convene to explore the great potential the Asean market offers.
The expo aimed to allow participants to showcase their latest inventions and ideas to investors, manufacturers, and marketers in ASEAN and beyond. It was a venue to encourage direct peer engagement for higher-level deal-making, co-investments, strategic partnerships, and business networking.
