Webinar: Digitalisation in Asset Management

Effective risk management minimises the risk of failure and the likelihood of having to take components out of service, maximises operational efficiency, and promotes asset life extension. Digital and data-driven technologies have become increasingly important in maintenance strategies for asset management and have the potential to add significant value to products and services.

The webinar will provide a brief introduction to Digitalisation in Asset Management and TWI’s Asset Integrity Management (AIM) services. The presentation will begin by introducing key concepts related to digitalisation and maintenance strategies. The talk will then present a selection of case studies highlighting TWI’s capabilities in this field. The webinar will finish with plenty of time allocated for questions and discussion.

Meet the team

Jeremy Morgan

Project Leader – Asset Integrity Management

Jeremy Morgan joined TWI in October 2018 and is a Project Leader in the Asset Integrity Management section. Jeremy has experience working in Research and Development, as well as an MPhys (Hons) from Lancaster University.

Jeremy has been delivering data-driven asset management projects for the last 3 years. Since joining the Asset Life Management team, he has worked on numerous H2020 and Innovate UK projects providing data analysis and developing life cycle assessment tools. He has also led the development of an artificial intelligence based failure detection system for rotating machinery with applications in predictive maintenance systems. Prior to joining TWI, Jeremy worked in scientific research, undertaking experimental analysis and has experience working in research and development on state of the art contact lens technologies.
