Azad Alasgarov has trained hundreds of students and prepared them for certification of CSWIP Visual Welding Inspector and CSWIP Welding Inspector courses at TWI Caspian Sea since 2016. With years of experience in the field of quality control and quality assurance, Azad is one of the most successful professionals in QC/NDT (Quality Control/Non-Destructive Test) field in Azerbaijan.
He holds a degree in Equipment and Technology of Welding Production from Azerbaijan Technical Institute. Being a Multi-discipline professional, Azad holds CSWIP 3.1 Welding Inspector, CSWIP RI-Radiographic Interpretation, Ultrasonic Inspector as well as CSWIP PAUT-Phased Array certificates from TWI.
Azad has more than 20 years of working experience in the Quality Control field. He has worked as NDT Inspector/Coordinator, UT Supervisor/PAUT Inspector, and NDT Coordinator in the main inspection companies of the country.
Years of career path in a variety of fields of the industry have helped him gain extensive exposure to diverse environments. He has experience in working on all aspects of NDT and Quality Control for numerous global clients such as “AZKONTEK” Quality Control Company, CSC (Caspian Shipyard Company), ATA (Amec-Tekfen-Azfen) consortium, SWIFT, Rosetti Marino SPA, AZFEN JV company, to name a few.
He also has been involved with the delivery of key projects throughout all phases of the project life cycle specifically, oilfield installations, jackets, modules, topside utilities, platform hook-ups, and piping installations. He has worked on cross-country pipeline projects, such as Shah Deniz Gas Export, Jack-up Prod/Drilling Platform, Batumi Oil Terminal reconstruction, CA-CWP, and PCWU Topside Fabrication, Kashagan Development Experimental Program-Ancillary Steelwork Fabrication Package and many more.
