Power sources for underwater manual metal arc (MMA, SMA/SMAW) welding should be direct current welding generator type, capable of producing a minimum of 300A at 65V open circuit (OC).
The equipment should include a DC circuit breaker (twin pole single action, 400A minimum) in the welding circuit.
