How do I make a fuel cell stack?

Frequently Asked Questions

In practice, fuel cells are not operated as single units; instead, they are connected together in series to build voltage or in parallel to increase current. A series of cells is referred to as a 'stack'. A component known as the bipolar separator or interconnect connects the anode of one cell to the cathode of the next cell in the stack.
