A new partnership between Anglia Ruskin University (ARU) and TWI Ltd has created a highly specialised and unique doctorate programme that offers professionals the chance to advance their careers in the workplace.

The new programme, called the Innovation and Management PhD, is designed to give participants the advanced knowledge and skills that they need to lead successful research campaigns.

It will enable professionals to lead successful innovation and give organisations a competitive edge in their market.

A five-year part-time course, the programme is available to both self-funded individuals and organisations.

This unique programme is designed to help participants develop their skills and lead their organisations towards research success in the face of challenges and changing market conditions.

The course will give students a unique opportunity to conduct self-developed research projects that will have the potential to dramatically benefit their organisations.

"We're very excited to offer this new programme with ARU," said Professor Tat-Hean Gan, Director of Membership, Innovation and Global Operations at TWI.

"The course is available to a diverse range of industries and individuals, and it provides participants with the tools to thrive in high-level leadership roles. Upon graduation, participants will be able to demonstrate revolutionary thinking, build robust strategies, and unlock technology potential. They will have the ability to lead their organisations towards success even in the most challenging of times."

Professor Yvonne Barnett, Deputy Vice-Chancellor for Research and Innovation from ARU said “In line with our mission to transform lives through innovative, inclusive and entrepreneurial education and research, ARU is delighted to be working in collaborative partnership with TWI to offer this innovative PhD."

"Experts from both partners will work to support participants to develop a unique programme of work focussed on creating new insights, and impact for their organisations. This applied focus will help to ensure that the Doctoral graduates will be equipped with new knowledge, methods, networks and insights from other professionals to ensure continued impact and success”.
