The Condition Monitoring Laboratory sees a dedicated group of highly skilled engineers use state-of-the-art equipment to undertake condition monitoring, including acoustic emission testing, detection and monitoring of leaks, cavitation and flow, vibration monitoring and risk analysis, wireless condition monitoring and hydrogen induced cracking detection for clients in oil and gas, aerospace, wind energy, transport and other industries.

The condition monitoring carried out at this laboratory enables operators to optimise their maintenance and service activities, eliminating up to 75% of unplanned shutdowns in a typical plant with correct implementation.  Benefits include improved risk management, increased reliability and production, root cause analysis and enhanced safety.
